Commendation for Honesty, Transparency and Integrity

matthew.ezemaI am pleased to convey the commendation of the Vice-Chancellor and the entire Management on your admirable and exemplary display of honesty, transparency and integrity in the course of the handling of your upgrade from the position of Assistant Lecturer to Lecturer II in the University.

Management noted that, despite the error in the initial letter of upgrade issued to you and the attendant financial implications which might otherwise have cost the University millions of Naira had it not been corrected; you displayed marked uprightness in drawing attention to the error, though you were yet to be paid your salaries.

This gives the older generation optimism that the future is safe in the hands of worthy persons like you who live by values and virtues, and thus shine as lights.
