This Workshop is specially designed for Scientists, Engineers and Students in Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics and other Tertiary institutions, who may be involved in Computer –based Mathematical Analysis.

Professor O. D. Makinde [BSc (Hons), MSc, PhD] Senior Professor & Director of Postgraduate Studies
Professor Oluwole Daniel Makinde is a Senior Professor and Director of Postgraduate Studies at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in South Africa. Prior to his present appointment, he was a Senior Professor and Chair of Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Engineering at CPUT. He is also the founder and Director of the Institute for Advanced Research in Mathematical Modelling and Computations at CPUT. He was a Professor and Head of Applied Mathematics Department for many years at Univesity of Limpopo in South Africa. He is an NRF-rated researcher and his research work covers a broad range of topics including improved perturbation techniques, bifurcation analysis, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, bio-mathematics, combustion theory, etc. His research work in the area of computational mathematics has generated a new approach of tackling nonlinear problems that model real systems.
